NTR, who has been swaying the audience – both Indian and international – with ‘RRR’, has been signed for the spy action-thriller, ‘War 2’ – a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster.

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, who played the role of Kabir in ‘War’, will be seen taking on NTR in a bloody battle that will be an adrenaline-pumping action extravaganza.

Confirming the news, today the Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan wished NTR a very Happy birthday in his own War style. He wrote, "Happy Birthday @tarak9999! Wishing you a joyous day and an action packed year ahead. Awaiting you on the yuddhabhumi my friend. May your days be full of happiness and peace. until we meet. Puttina Roju Subhakankshalu Mitrama."

This was sudden surprise for the fans who are confused about the NTR's role in War 2. Now replying to the wishes, NTR wrote "Thank you sir for your lovely wish!

I’m going to soak in the day today. You should start counting down the days too… Hope you sleep well thinking about what awaits because I want you well rested at the yuddhabhoomi. see you soon!"

This confirms that NTR will be locking horns with Hrithik in ‘War 2’, “Their battle of wits and their fierce showdown will definitely be an action spectacle to remember on the big screen.

Recently, it was also revealed that the event film is being directed by Ayan Mukerji, who has a history of delivering some of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood including his last release ‘Brahmastra’.
