Updated : Jan 9, 2016

In A centres, the screen count is clear and big players are going to pick up all films for their multiplexes. If there are 4 screens, surely they could allot two shows for each film for sure. Nannaku Prematho, Dictator, Soggade Chinni Nayana and Express Raja will get decent screens. But the real fight could be felt in B & C centres.

In places where there are single screens, big heroes and small heroes are fighting to win theatres at any cost. And this rift is seriously benefitting theatre owners in the end. Not owing to any pressures or fanism, theatre owners are making it clear that they will not rent theatres just for a fixed pay at least for the first week. Rather, they are demanding a revenue share model. Who offers more revenue to theatres is likely to get the screen for their movie.

Now, distributors are offering a 50:50 revenue share model as per our reliable sources. Signing off, we have to say that theatres are the final gainers from this Sankranthi fight. For audiences, ticket price is same, irrespective of any theatre.
