Updated : Sep 12, 2015

Ram Gopal Varma made "Sholay" in his style. Apoorva Lakhia carved out "Zanjeer" with Ram Charan in Hindi and Telugu. Both the films have some other iconic actors too. What's the fate of this film? Seems like Bollywood is not ready to revisit classics.

Both the new versions of Sholay (RGV Ki Aag) and Zanjeer stood duds at box office without even finishing a day. Same is the case with "Hero" that got released the other day. Whole of Bollywood critics have summed up the film as a bad remake. Director Subhash Ghai made original"Hero" in 1983 and it's a runaway hit. And now after 32 years, this film is remade with Sooraj Pancholi (Jiya Khan's boyfriend) and Athiya Shetty (Sunil Shetty's daughter) in the leads, but couldn't withstand hype due to bad direction and action. So this 'classic' remake to will end up as a disaster.
