Updated : Jul 26, 2012

Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna and Tapsee’s upcoming movie ‘Gundello Godari’ is completely based on a book written by late Mullapudi Venkata Ramana.  Reportedly, producer Manchu Lakshmi liked the book penned by Mullapudi and approached him long back for the rights. But, to her surprise, Mullapudi said that the book was already sold to PVS Rama Rao. Later, Lakshmi Manchu has approached Rama Rao and procured the rights of the book and made ‘Gundello Godari’. No doubt Lakshmi Manchu needs appreciation for buying the rights unlike some other film makers who copy heavily from Hollywood movies and doesn’t even care to give credits to the original ones. What say guys????
