Yet another writer turns director! Present-day Telugu cinema ace screenplay writer Gopi Mohan is all set to make his directorial debut next year. Gopi Mohan, one of the top writers in Telugu movies, would be teaming up with Malla Vijaya Prasad, who earlier produced movies like Sidhu From Srikakulam, Seetharamula Kalyanam, etc.  The pre production work would commence after Mahesh Babu's Dookudu movie, in which Gopi Mohan is currently busy with.

Previously, writers who have turned directors include Dasari, Trivikram Srinivas, Veeru Potla, Vijayendra Prasad, etc. and now its Gopi Mohan's turn to wield the megaphone. Gopi Mohan earlier worked on several blockbuster movies like Santosham Venky, Dhee, Dubai Seenu, Ready, King, Namo Venkatesa, etc.
