Rana Daggubati’s Ghazi released last Friday is making strong impact at box office. Though collections were bit weak on day one, Saturday and Sunday figures are impressive. Apparently, extreme positive mouth talk is helping the film to improve box office performance.
As per trade reports, Ghazi has crossed Rs 15 crores mark in its first weekend worldwide for three languages- Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. While Telugu version is doing good business, Hindi version is okay and Tamil is a bit slow. Overall, the movie is expected to make profitable business for producers who released the movie on own.
Ghazi overseas collections are also impressive. As of Saturday, the film minted $315K and it is sure to rake around $450K in its opening weekend in the territory. Having full faith on the film, makers of Ghazi released the movie on own. So, the film fetched Rs 12.5 crores for satellite rights, is likely to provide profits for producers.
