Updated : Nov 11, 2011

Actress Genelia is furious over the fourth estate for publishing reports on her Tollywood ban. Couple of days back Movie Artists Association (MAA) has recommended all producers not to extend any cooperation to Genelia since she has not registered as a member in the association. Mind you, MAA couple of months back has even given deadline to few other top Tollywood actresses to register. But this fresh report from the association on Genelia has been ‘pronounced’ as ban on the actress.

Further, Gennie details that someone told her that if she signs up for the South Indian Association, that itself includes 4 associations including MAA. Says a livid Genelia, “With no bans or notices issued against me, there's no reason why there shud be this hoopla created. Whn I signed up 4d south indian association4movie artists I was promised that it would cover all 4industries n dat is also wat d body states”.

Genelia has been travelling constantly since last few months and as such, she has entrusted the responsibility to one of her production guys to do the required paper wok. Wonder where’s that guy? The bubbly actress concludes saying that it’s not fair when people make target someone who is strong enough to take it. And finally, amidst these speculations, the actress has something to cheer as Genelia won the Best Actress Award at fifth Edition of Asiavision Annual Malayalam Movie Awards (AAMMA).  And this event will be staged on November 25.
