Updated : Jun 2, 2026

Vishnu Vishal has delivered a memorable blockbuster with his family entertainer Gatta Kusthi, winning the hearts of the audiences. Now, he is getting ready to recreate that magic with its highly anticipated sequel, Gatta Kusthi 2. The makers have officially unveiled a hilarious teaser today, locking the grand theatrical release for July 3.

Directed by Chella Ayyavu, the movie promises to take the fun to the next level with a fresh concept. While the teaser showcases a funny role reversal with the hero handling household chores, the real novelty of the sequel is the inclusion of their little daughter. This kid character promises a lot more fun and comedy, adding a completely fresh dynamic to the central theme as she clearly inherits her family's fighting traits.

Aishwarya Lekshmi returns in her fierce sportswoman avatar, but the father-daughter duo completely steals the show in the teaser. It is packed with non-stop comedy, especially a hilarious sequence where the school complains that their daughter beat up two people, only for the father to go there and beat up four more. This perfectly sets the tone for a full-length family laugh riot driven by this new addition.

Vels Film International and Vishnu Vishal Studioz are jointly producing this exciting project without compromising on quality. Sean Roldan is composing the music for this sports comedy drama. With such a highly entertaining teaser out, the team is confident about delivering a huge success at the theaters.
