Nandamuri Balakrishna’s biggest hit film Legend is successfully running in Archana Theater in Proddutur town in Kadapa district. The film has completed 1005 days run and it is expected to be screened until Balakrishna’s 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni replaces it on January 11th. It is already the longest running movie in the history of South Cinema. Previous best was Rajinikanth’s film Chandramukhi which reportedly ran for 891 days in a screen in Chennai.

Buzz is that a group of local businessmen who are die-hard fans of Balakrishna had given a big amount to the theatre owner to run the film until the arrival of GPSK, irrespective of the fact that any audience come to the movie hall or not.
