Sekhar Kammula directed Fidaa has brought immense craze for the film's actress Sai Pallavi who is flooded with appreciations post release of the Varun Tej co-starrer film. Though heroines get less recognition in Tollywood, Sai Pallavi dominated even male lead Varun Tej in the film, thanks to Sekhar Kammula's excellent writing of Bhanumathi character.
Now, few Telugu filmmakers are showing interest to sign Sai Pallavi for their films. Apparently, everybody wants to cash on Fidaa success. Ceded distributor DV Krishna Swamy has bought Telugu dubbing rights of Malayalam film Kali and he has plans to release the film here soon. Dulquer Salman who is known to Telugu spectators with the film Ok Bangaram is main lead in the film which hit the Malayalam screens more than a year ago.
Since Sai Pallavi has amassed fans frenzy in Telugu states with single film, few are looking for options to capitalize on the craze. It may be mentioned here that, Kali was an above average grosser in Kerala.
