Stylish Star Allu Arjun is one of the top Telugu stars when it comes to Kerala market. His most of the films, even few duds had done decent to good business in the state. Likewise, Bunny's last outing DJ- Duvvada Jagannadham was released in Kerala as Dhruvaraja Jagannadh on last Friday to good opening.

The Harish Shankar directed film grossed Rs. 1.75 Cr overall in the first weekend in Kerala. This is exceptional for a Telugu film and it purely reflects Allu Arjun's stamina. And as per trade experts in Kerala the movie would provide good profits to distributors in the territory.

DJ was an average grosser in Telugu states, wherein it was a flop in overseas. Due to heavy buzz, distributors shelled out big amounts to acquire rights of the film to their regions. However, the movie botched to recover the investments in few areas.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is working for a patriotic film Naa Peru Surya- Naa Illu India under Vakkantham Vamsi's direction.
