SIT started interrogating film personalities in drugs scam today and the first to attend SIT examination was Puri Jagannadh. The process actually happens secretly with only SIT officials and offenders or suspects in a particular case attending it. Surprisingly, several section of media has been airing programs to reveal questions asked by the authorities as well as answers mouthed by Puri. How can the media houses get the complete information regarding the SIT probe? doubt many. Biggest shock was the programs were telecasted when the probe was happening. It appeared like live-telecasting was happening!
In fact, information in many issues will be leaked out with inputs from inside sources. However, officials should be 'over cautious' when dealing with few sensitive and not-to-be-disclosed issues. Unfortunately, drugs investigation info is leaked and police officials don't seem to be bothered about it.
Though they couldn't get video footage, media covered the issue as if they were also present there. Can it be called journalism? What's their intention in leaking SIT probe on Puri? What's the message they are giving to the society? Only they know answers for these!
