Super Star Mahesh Babu will attend the Dookudu Success meet to be held on September 30, 2011 in Vijayawada (Friday). Mahesh Babu will be coming from Mumbai to Vijayawada and particpate in the press meet along with other unit members. Thrilled by the response, the makers of Dookudu have straightaway decided launch the anti piracy campaign while simultaneously initiating the publicity campaign.

Its being reported that Dookudu is the biggest hit in the 80 years of Telugu cinema industry as of now! Mahesh Babu's Dookudu broke all previous Telugu cinema records! Fresh reports say that Dookudu 3 days collections (first 3 days) amounted to 22.22 crore (share) which is a new record in 80 years of Telugu cinema history.

Nizam – 4. 3 crores
Ceeded – 3.10 crores
Guntur – 1.53 crores
Vizag – 1. 08 crores
Krishna – 95 lakhs
East Godavari - 95 lakhs
West Godavari - 88 lakhs
Karnataka, Chennai and other areas – 1.09 crores
Overseas – 6 crores

Total – 22.21 crores (share) for the first three days and 10.31 crores (share) on the first day.

Meanwhile Dookudu collections have created a new Tollywood record. According producers, the movie collected Rs. Rs 12.56 Crores gross and (10.11 Crores Share) on the day one itself. Similarly, Dookudu USA collections have also hit a new high, as the movie collected an unbelievable 1 million dollars. Likewise, Dookudu collections were Rs. 1.5 crores in 2 days in UK, Australia, Dubai and Canada. If Dookudu collections continue at the same pace, then  trade pundits predict that the movie might break the first week records of Rs 21.5 Crores set by Magadheera.
