Home  »  News  »  Mahesh Babu and NTR Target Magadheera

Updated : Oct 10, 2011

Ever since Magadheera released, the talk has spread like wild-fire. It quickly made the trade pundits to predict that the movie would create an all time record in Telugu cinema, which was until then under Mahesh Babu’s ‘Pokiri’. Even Jr NTR was in the race before Magadheera since his Yamadonga also erased few previous Tollywood records then. As the time progressed, movies like Yamadonga, Pokiri, Adhurs, etc kept the trade pundits and analysts busy with the stats until Magadheera. Ram Charan’s Magadheera has comprehensively erased all earlier Tollywood records by quite a distance making it literally very difficult for other heroes to beat.

Freshly Mahesh Babu has arrived with Dookudu. The movie was a smash hit and it has already re-written previous Tollywood records in almost all centers for 1 week, 10 days and even 2 weeks in terms of collections. Similarly, Jr NTR’s Oosaravelli has managed to get record collections for the movie on the opening day but it would be interesting to see how the movie proceeds from hereon. So can Mahesh Babu and NTR break break Magadheera records?
