Story
Dhimahi is set in Australia and revolves around a happy Indian family. Mahi, a seven-year-old blind girl, gets kidnapped and killed, the family goes through a trauma after that incident. What follows forms the crux of the story. Will Kartik succeed in the process? Who killed Mahi?
Performances
Hero Saahas Pagadala has purposeful role and his performance is good in many scenes and as an actor he gave his best for the role. The actor's expressions and his acting potential explored through close up shots. Nikihita Chopra got key role and she did her role effectively. The chemistry between the lead pair has been showcased in a decent manner.
Virat Kapoor and Ashika Pagadala were good as parents, who lost thier child and performances were convincing. The small kid who acted in the role of Mahi did her limited role in a convincing manner. Other actors are decent in their respective roles. The antagonist has so much potential in the film and he did it perfectly.
Technicalities
On the technical side, both the cinematography and music complement the film's atmosphere and serve their purpose. The rest of the departments manage to do their jobs just okay. Director Saahas Pagadala came up with a concept which is not seen before. But the director lacks in execution part as the narration is not fresh. Editing work done by Santosh Kamireddy is decent enough.

Verdict
The average first half and good second half helps the film so much that failed in execution and writing cohesive scenes that lacked depth. The explanation of the scientific aspects could have been clearer. Nevertheless, the film is worth watching for its unique approach presents an unconventional narrative in an easily understandable format.
