Soon after the National Human Rights Commission took suo motu cognizance of controversial actress Sri Reddy's allegations of sexual exploitation, the Movie Artists' Association on Thursday lifted a ban on her. It also announced setting up of a Committee Against Sexual Harassment which would meet once in three months. MAA President Shivaji Raja said the committee, comprising senior actors and filmmakers of Telugu film industry, would look into the complaints of sexual harassment.
After making shocking allegations against producer Suresh Babu Daggubati's son Abhiram Daggubati and leaking intimate pictures of herself with him, she went on to release a few screenshots of her private chats with some other big names in the South Film Industry. Freshly, she alleged executive producer Vakada Appa Rao of sexually abusing female artists.
“#srireddyleaks This Executive producer Vakada Appa Rao, He sexually abused and exploited hundreds of female artists including 16 yrs girls also,” posted Sri Reddy who also requested Chiranjeevi not to encourage such people.
“Chiranjeevi sir, he played with lives of many girls using your name. Please don’t encourage them,” added Sri Reddy.
