Updated : Aug 11, 2026

Megastar Chiranjeevi has once again lived up to his reputation for giving away interesting updates about his upcoming films. The actor appears to have accidentally revealed the title of his next film, currently referred to as Mega 158, even before the makers officially announce it.

Chiranjeevi is teaming up with director Bobby Kolli for the film, which is being produced by KVN Productions. The project has been one of the most awaited announcements among Mega fans, with expectations that a major update would be unveiled on Chiranjeevi's birthday on August 22.

However, Chiranjeevi let the cat out of the bag during the success meet of Korean Kanakaraju. While interacting with music director S Thaman, he was discussing the background score for the upcoming teaser. Chiranjeevi mentioned that the teaser would be released on his birthday and, while talking about Thaman working on the score, asked whether he had noticed the title, before saying "Kadiri."

The slip has immediately sparked curiosity among fans. The film's title had earlier been speculated to be Kaakaji, but Chiranjeevi's latest comment indicates that the makers have chosen a different title. It is still unclear whether the official title will simply be Kadiri or whether the word will be accompanied by a subtitle or an additional phrase.
