Updated : May 11, 2017

Megastar Chiranjeevi accepted to host three seasons of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu (MEK). While the show was a big hit when it was hosted by Nagarjuna, it tasted bitter response with poor TRP ratings after the megastar took the charge. It is heard that, Chiru has decided to put full stop for MEK show.

Chiranjeevi’s first MEK season will be completed by end of this month. He was supposed to start new season from September. However, it may not be possible, as Chiru allotted the call sheets during the time to his 151st film ‘Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’ to be directed by Surender Reddy’.

‘Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’ regular shooting commences from September and it will continue till March next year. Thus, Chiru won’t be available for MEK show until then.

It is also heard that, Chiru told the management of Maa Network to plan a new and fresh program which would escalate his stature, rather than continuing the new season of MEK. Now, the Maa team is planning to set a unique TV show for the megastar!
