Chalapathi Rao: Another great loss to Telugu Cinema

Another tragedy struck Tollywood. Veteran actor Chalapathi Rao Garu, died at the age of 78. He died of a heart attack at his Hyderabad home. Chalapathi Rao was born on May 8, 1944, in the Krishna district of Balliparru.

 

He is well-known as an actor and producer. He appeared in over 600 films. In 1966, he made his film debut with 'Goodachari 116,' which was released. He has played supporting and villain roles in almost all of the top heroes' films, and he has received critical praise.

 

Chalapathy Rao has two daughters and a son. Son Ravi Babu is a director, actor and producer. Chalapathi Rao is staying at his son Ravi Babu's house in Banjara Hills MLA Colony. Senior actor Kaikala Satyanarayana passed away two days ago, now with the sudden demise of Chalapathi Rao, there has been a deep tragedy in the Tollywood film industry.

 

Celebrities have expressed condolences to the family. Chalapathi Rao's family members said that Chalapathi Rao's last rites will be held on Wednesday after his daughter's arrival from America.
