Bholaa Shankar starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, released in theatres yesterday. Megastar gave a chance to Meher Ramesh, who has been out of action for a decade.

Meher remade Tamil blockbuster Vedhalam with Chiru, and Keerthy Suresh acted as Chiru’s sister. Tamannaah played female lead. The film got disaster reviews and response everywhere.

The movie minted around 5 crores share from Krishna, Guntur, and Uttarandhra regions on its opening day. As per PR, the movie collected 2.07 crores share from Guntur, 1.84 crores share from UA, and 1.02 crores share from Krishna region.

Totally the film collected less than 20 gross crores on Day 1. This is the worst numbers and reviews received by Megastar film after comeback. We need to see how the box office performance will be in the coming days.

Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments produced Bholaa Shankar. He was so confident about the movie, but the response is quite opposite. The film will likely end it's run within a week.
