Bedurulanka 2012 will have fun and social message says Karthikeya

Talented young actor Karthikeya will be next seen in the Dramedy film Bedurulanka 2012. Directed by debutant Clax, the film is bankrolled by Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni (Benny) under the banner of Loukya Entertainments. Neha Sshetty played the female lead, and Mani Sharma composed the music.

The movie is set for a grand release this Friday. Ahead of the release, Karthikeya interacted with media about the film, here's the transcript

Talking about how he got the chance to hear the story of Bedurulanka 2012. He said "I got to know Clax through Ajay Bhupathi. They both were colleagues under Ram Gopal Varma Garu. During Corona, Clax narrated me this story. There was so much talk about the apocalypse in 2012. I got connected to the story pretty much. Audiences have changed a lot. The newness in the story and high entertainment made me do Bedurulanka 2012."

Talking about director Clax, He said "Generally, when we listen to a commercial story, certain visuals will flash into our minds. A few scenes will come to our mind, but there is no reference for Bedurulanka 2012. The movie will be completely new. I watched the film, and I felt extremely happy. Bedurulanka 2012 will have fun as well as a social message. I hope the film brings a small change in the people. Audiences will enjoy the movie thoroughly."

Sharijg details about his character, he said "Siva lives life in the way he likes to. He leaves a graphic designer job in the city and moves to a village. He doesn’t care about what others think about him or how others judge him. At the same time, he doesn’t bother anyone and does his job. He doesn’t do anything that he dislikes."

Talking about Neha's character, he said "Neha Sshetty plays the president’s daughter, who doesn’t know anything apart from Bedurulanka. She falls in love with Siva. But Siva is a courageous person who proposes to her in front of everyone. But she won’t tell her feelings to Siva since she is nervous. All our scenes will look cute, and our chemistry worked out neatly."

Talking about producer support, he said "The entire story happens in 2012 in a village backdrop. There is a scene in which people need to run. More people were required for that scene, and the producer didn’t compromise on budget and quality. He provided us with everything that is needed to tell this story. He roped in Mani Sharma Garu as the music director, and he was the one who suggested Neha Sshetty. I am happy to have worked under his production."

Talking about doing bilinguals in Telugu and Tamil, he said "It is true that I got a good name among Tamil audiences after Valimai. But I don’t want to release every film in Tamil. If I come across a story that suits the tastes of Tamil and Telugu audiences, then I will do a bilingual. After Valimai, I got two to three good opportunities in Tamil, but they weren’t exciting.

Talking about his next projects, he said "I am being cautious about selecting scripts. Though I didn’t announce any movie, discussions are underway. I am doing a film under the banner of UV Creations. It is a crime comedy action drama. Debutant Prashanth is directing it. Another two to three projects are in the discussion stage."
