When Dil Raju and team had announced to acquire Baahubali: The Beginning Nizam area rights for whopping Rs 25 crores, many had laughed at the producer for risking such big amount. But, they don’t know Dil Raju’s business equation. He was once again proved right as Baahubali part one became a huge hit in all the areas and provided the Nizam king in production and distribution massive profits.

Actually, there was a dispute between Dil Raju and Baahubali producers over monetary issues. Thus, the producers then decided not to sell Baahubali 2 The Conclusion rights to Dil Raju at any cost. Though Dil Raju offered a huge cheque for Baahubali 2 Nizam rights, the producers reject it and released the film on own in the region in association with Asian Films.

Baahubali collected a share of Rs 66 crores until today alone in Nizam area. If the area rights were sold to any distributors they would have got only 40 to 45 Cr. Thus, Baahubali producers pocketed extra profits by releasing the film on own.

The producers are now planning to release the SS Rajamouli directed and Prabhas, Rana starrer film in China in next month. Hope, the film will do exceptional business there as well to set new benchmark!
