Oscar Award Winner AR Rahman spoke several times about Baahubali, before release of the second part at several occasions. At last he has watched the SS Rajamouli directed film and has all praises for the film unit. He predicted that, Baahubali 2 The Conclusion which has reached 1500 crores mark would cross 2000 crores mark. He also stated that, the Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamanna Bhatia starrer movie has opened the flood gates for south Indian cinema.

“To Rajamouli garu, Keeravani garu and the whole team of BB2... Just finished watching it in Chennai. I hope it crosses 2000 cr and above at the box office. You guys have opened the flood gates for South Indian cinema to the world and given it a new identity,” said AR Rahman.

Interim, Baahubali 2 is still going strong at box office in its fourth week. Apparently, no Indian film would reach the mark in near future.
