Director Ravi Babu's upcoming suspense thriller 'Avunu' release date is September 21. That means, Avunu is all set to lock horns with 'Vennela' Kishore's Vennela 1/2 which is also releasing on the same day. Currently, the post production formalities are underway and the first copy would be readied by the weekend. 'Avunu' is based on a real life incident  stars Harshavardhan Rane of 'Takita Takita' fame and Poorna of 'Seema Tapakai' fame in the lead roles. Avunu is being jointly produced by Prasad V Potluri, Suresh Babu and Ravi Babu. Sekhar Chandra has scored the music, while Sudhakar Reddy handles the lens.
