Young mega hero Allu Sirish is making efforts to score his first commercial hit. His last movie Srirastu Subhamastu released with decent expectations had collected career best figures for the actor, but botched to recover budget spent on the project.

Sirish is making his debut to Malayalam cinema with an upcoming war drama film ‘1971: Beyond Borders’ being directed by Major Ravi and has superstar Mohanlal essaying main lead role. Kannada actress Nikki Galrani has been roped in to play Sirish's love interest in the film.

Nikki who is pretty popular in Kannada industry is making trails to make her mark in Tollywood. This would be a great opportunity for her to settle in South’s biggest industry, i.e. Tollywood.

Nikki will join the film’s shoot in January. The film is being made as trilingual in- Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil.

On the flip side, Sirish pins high hopes on this film to provide recognition in Mollywood. His brother Allu Arjun, being called as Mallu Arjun in Malayalam by his fans, is already a superstar there.
