For the first time, he has directed his co-star Srikanth in 'All The Best' movie which has Anisha Singh and Lucky Sharma as female leads. Story:

Film opens in the court, with Ravi (Srikanth) talking to his father, a bank manager (Kota Srinivasa Rao) who was convicted on cheating charges. Ravi  comes to know through the lawyer that his father would be released if the lost money is paid to the court. Being an educated youth, Ravi jumps in to a conclusion that he is going to earn the money by hook or crook. Then, he meets Chandu (JD Chakravarthy), a conman and seeks his help. Will Ravi save his father, how did Chandu helped Ravi forms the crux of the story.

Analysis:

Director JD Chakravarthy who has directed gangster movies in his earlier outing has changed his theme and tried a different genre this time. However, he could have done a far better job in making script more compact. The movie goes clueless with mistimed songs and falters with poor pace. Audience will see all the leading comedians and character actors as a unit in this film. 'All The Best' movie offers nothing fresh that can be discussed. Including Bramhanandam's role, director has copied the main plot and comedy scenes from Hindi movies like 'All the Best' and 'Bluff Master'. The difference between Chakravarthy's earlier movies and this movie is entertainment with poorly etched narration.

Though there are too many comedians, they fail to bring smiles from the audience all the time. Anisha Singh has a very limited role for one song and Lucky Sharma has been given a bit of scope to perform in which she failed to leave an impact. Hemachandra's music is not appealing. The climax episode of the film goes at brisk pace and the story catches the momentum as there is a major twist to the tale.

TeluguOne Perspective :

Actor and director JD Chakravarthy has come up with a different plot this time, that has lots of twist and turns. Gone are the days when the audience used to enjoy the movies which are heavily inspired from Hindi films. Here, in the case of All The Best, director failed in narration and lost the grip eventually. Almost the entire movie goes on predictable mode and doesn't make up any interest except the climax episode. Director seems to have targeted only B and C center audience as there is nothing much to  talk about neither technicalities nor the production values.

Performances:

Srikanth and JD Chakravarthy, who are very good and natural actors have done a commendable job. Actress Anisha Singh was hardly seen and has been confined to a song. Another actress Lucky Sharma who is glamorous in songs is a mismatch for these kind of roles which have lot of scope to perform. Raghu Babu, Bramhanandam and Telanga Shakuntala brings smiles to the audience in some scenes. Kota Srinivasa Rao, Pradeep Rawat had nothing much to do.

Technicalities:

Dialogues by Challa Krishnamohan are effective. Hemachandra's music and Sai Karthik's background score are huge setback for All the Best. Cinematography and editing work are ordinary. Production values of Sudha  Cinema banner are below par.
