Updated : May 21, 2026

Director Abhishek Nama’s upcoming mythological adventure, Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure, is generating significant buzz ahead of its July release. Following a strong response to the film’s initial teaser and music, the makers recently released a new poster that highlights the massive scale of the project.

The latest visual features lead actor Virat Karrna in an intense avatar, surrounded by thunder, stormy oceans, and a serpent wrapped around his arm. The imagery leans heavily into the film's fantasy and mythological roots. According to the production team, this specific action sequence is expected to be one of the major visual highlights of the movie.

To handle the heavy CGI requirements, the team has brought in several international VFX studios, with Abhishek Nama personally supervising the output to ensure a solid theatrical experience. The film has also secured a major distribution deal, with Zee Studios acquiring the North Indian theatrical rights to manage a wide pan-India release strategy.

Produced by Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy, Nagabandham is presented by Lakshmi Ira and Devansh Nama. The cast includes Iswarya Menon and Nabha Natesh as the female leads, alongside industry veterans like Jagapathi Babu. The film will hit screens worldwide on July 3, 2026, in multiple languages.
