Updated : Mar 25, 2011

Why is Megastar Chiranjeevi stopping Varun Tej? Amidst several speculations, Chiranjeevi is holding back Naga Babu's son Varun Tej from entering into Telugu cinema industry. Cut across, and Varun Tej is preparing well for stepping into Tollywood and lock horns with best of the best.

Apparently, Chiranjeevi is not giving green signal to Naga Babu to launch his son Varun Tej into Telugu movies. And on the other hand, Naga Babu is catching hold of all top Telugu cinema directors to launch his son. Chiranjeevi is postponing the decision about Varun Tej launch to Telugu cinema and Chiranjeevi has asked Varun Tej to wait for some more time. But why?

Sources say Chiranjeevi is feeling that competition in Mega family itself is very high. The actor turned politician feels that the competition is already intense in his own family base. Pawan Kalyan is now planning to make 2-3 movies per year from now after Komaram Puli disaster, Ram Charan is struggling to get a good script after orange debacle, Allu Arjun is not at his usual best at this point and Chiranjeevi's nephew Sai Dharam Tej is about to make his debut.

Perhaps Megastar feels that this is not the right time for Varun Tej to step into Telugu cinema and may be he would like to launch Varun Tej may be next year when things are going pretty for Mega family. However, few othes say that Varun Tej looks tall and handsome. And Chiranjevi fears if this lanky lad makes his debut in movies, then Ram Charan and Allu Arjun might have to pack their bags and go home.
