Is Bollywood hottie Sonam Kapoor making her Tamil debut? Well, as for now, grapevine is abuzz that actress Sonam Kapoor is all game to make her Kollywood debut in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming movie tentatively titled ‘Pookadai’. Some time back Sonam said that she would focus only on Bollywood and not other languages but fresh reports about Sonam’s company in Mani Ratnam’s movie has garnered lot of interest. Mind you, it wasMani Ratnam who also launched Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor with Kannada film Pallavi Anupallavi.

Apparently, Mani Ratnam has offered Sonam Kapoor a role besides new comer Gautham, son of veteran actor Karthik. An indecisive Sonam thought twice before letting the makers about her decision. But dad Anil Kapoor intervened and eventually had to convince Sonam to give her nod. The movie comes with great crew in the form of Oscar Award winner AR Rahman scoring the music while Rajeev Menon cranking the camera. So let’s await the official confirmation.
