Actress Samantha who shot to fame with in no time is facing tough time in Kollywood these days. Recently, she was dropped from Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' and rumors abuzz that Samantha is likely to be dropped from sensational director Shankar's new movie 'I' starring Vikram in the lead role. Sources say that Samantha is suffering from acne and perhaps undergoing treatment from a reputed dermatologist in Chennai. Hence, this is why she has opted out of Mani Ratnam's Kadal movie which requires the actress to shoot near beaches for 30 days.

Meanwhile, Shankar who is China to scout the locations for 'I' has already started negotiations with several Bollywood actresses and couple of new faces, says trusted sources. The shooting of 'I' would roll from July second week with a song sequence being shot on Vikram and female lead of the film, composed by AR Rahman in Chennai.
