Director Murugadoss is gearing up to direct Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan in a new movie which happens to be the remake of super hit Tamil movie 'Ramana', says Kollywood sources. Directed by Murugadoss, Ramana has won critical acclaims and had a dream run at Kollywood box-office. The film is set under the backdrop of corruption originally has actor turned politician Vijayakanth in the lead role. Later, Ramana was remade in Telugu with Mega Star Chiranjeevi in the lead as 'Tagore' and the film emerged as one of the biggest hits in Chiranjeevi's career.
Recently, Murugadoss narrated the storyline to SRK and immediately received go ahead nod says close sources of the director. This film will see Shahrukh Khan playing the role of a professor for the first time in his career. Currently, SRK is busy shooting for Yash Chopra's untitled film in London and this Murugadoss movie will kick off only after SRK wraps his current project. Stay tuned for more details.
