Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma is known for making controversial films. The director has special interest in making biopics with real or fictional stories. He already made films on Bal Thackeray, Paritala Ravi and Vangaveeti Ranga. The film Vangaveeti is slated to release on 23rd of this month.
RGV sometime ago announced to make a film on Hyderabad based gangster Nayeem who was killed by police in an encounter near Shamshabad. The controversial director made the announcement just few days after the gangster was executed.
We can expect RGV to do biopic on Jayalalithaa aka Amma who passed away last night. The director lauded the late Tamil Nadu Cm with series of Tweets.
“The only time ever I went to an award function.. Receiving from the one and only Amma, the best director award for Kshana kshanam. Beauty+Grace+Dignity. Can't imagine the state of Tamilnadu without Jayalalitha ..Super Star to Super politician..Woww what a journey?” Tweeted RGV.
In fact, Jayalalithaa’s will be the best biopic if RGV takes it up and do proper research on her personal life- from a film star to a state chief minister.
Right now, RGV is busy with third installment of Sarkaar which is in the middle of production.
