Home  »  Gossip  »  NBK – Vivek Athreya Film Discussions Still On?

Updated : Jun 10, 2026

Reports about a possible collaboration between Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Vivek Athreya have been creating curiosity among audiences for some time now. Recently, rumours started circulating that Balakrishna was not impressed with Vivek Athreya’s idea and the project had been dropped.

However, latest reports suggest that there is no truth in such speculation. Discussions between the actor and director are said to be progressing in the right direction and the project has not been shelved.

While things are moving positively, sources indicate that the film is still in discussion stage and major decisions are yet to be finalised. This appears to be one of the reasons why there has been no official communication from the makers till now.

The team is reportedly taking time to develop the project properly before making any announcement. So, fans expecting an immediate confirmation may have to wait a little longer. At this point, an official announcement may not come anytime soon, but reports strongly suggest that conversations are definitely happening and the collaboration remains very much on the table.
