And now, sources say that Ram Gopal Varma has approached Mohan Babu for a key role in Bezawada Rowdilu. Mohan Babu is also showing interest to do the role, it's said.

During the making of Raktha Charithra, Ram Gopal Varma aksed Mohan Babu to play the character of late NT Rama Rao, but Mohan Babu declined it for obvious reasons. The proposed movie Bezawada Rowdilu is struck in several controversies. Particularly the title song that RGV released as a promo, was said to be aimed at flaring up passions of two foremost communities in Bezawada.
