SS Rajamouli's 'Maryada Ramanna' is likely to be remade in Tamil. Sunil starred in Maryada Ramanna and the film proved to be a hit at the box-office. Recently, Maryada Ramanna was remade in Hindi as 'Son of Sardar' starring Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha and movie has joined the 100 crore club. Prasad V Potluri of PVP Cinemas has acquired the rights of the film and it being heard that Kannan may be directing the Tamil version. Makers of the movie are considering the names of Santhanam and Siva Karthikeyan for the lead role.
