Initially, the makers planned to rope in Sonakshi Sinha, but things did not work out due to dates problem. Later they approached Sameera Reddy now fresh reports say that Kamal Hasssan has almost finalized Anushka for Viswaroopam.

Since the movie is also made in Hindi (apart from Tamil and Telugu) Kamal evinced interest to include a Bollywood heroine. And with things not materializing for Kamal Ji has finally approached Anushka. Sources say that Anushka is charging around 1 crore for a film since she's one of the busiest actress of South cinema.
