Sources close to Rana Daggubati say that the actor has planned to back out of his maiden Tamil venture ‘Vada Chennai’, directed by National award-winning director Vetri Maaran. Rana, after reading the script, initially agreed to play a vital character in Vada Chennai, which has Silambarasan in the lead character. And Rana even dropped Selvaraghavan’s film for Vada Chennai because the actor thought that this film would be a perfect launch pad for him in Tamil. Rana even took part in the workshops conducted for the cast and crew of the movie. Then started trouble!
Apparently, Rana had only heard to the one-line narration of the script earlier and later he realised that his character was not as intense as he had believed it to be. It was further reported that Rana was disappointed and had apprehensions he might not get any recognition. So Rana is in fix whether to do this film or not?
