Prashanth Varma has been in major controversies recently about him not starting his projects on time and not honoring his commitments. He is currently working on his highly anticipated sequel to HanuMan, Jai Hanuman. Kantara leading star Rishab Shetty has been confirmed to play the lead role long back. 

There have been rumors about Teja Sajja not appearing in Jai Hanuman, as well. Now, new reports suggest that Rana Daggubati has been cast as a villain and MM Keeravaani will compose music for the film alongside, Varanasi. It would be interesting to see him score for two films with portions of Lord Rama in the script. 

 
The film is expected to have a grand launch in Hampi on February 22, 2026, with regular filming scheduled to begin in April. With Mythri Movie Makers backing this project, the expectations are sky-high to see how Prasanth Varma expands his superhero universe.
