Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna’s mythological treat ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ was a runaway hit and Balayya got great applause for his performance. Freshly, after Sree Rama Rajyam success, Balayya was approached by another producer asking him to take up devotional venture ‘Sri Krishna Leelalu’. Reports say that the producer even asked Bapu to direct this Sri Krishna Leelalu movie. However, kept the project on hold it seems.

Further, Grapevine says that director Rajamouli is contemplating remaking ‘Daana Veera Sura Karna" with Balayya and Jr. NTR in lead roles. Apart from these, Balakrishna himself is planning to direct another movie ‘Narthanasala’, which was shelved some time back. With so many devotional films in the pipeline, it would be interesting to see whether Balakrishna would continue doing mystic movies or go back to his commercial and masala formula.
