Of late, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna is keen on doing biopics. His last movie Gautamiputra Satakarni which was life story of Satavahana emperor was a big hit. The actor who is presently doing a gangster film tentatively titled Ustaad being directed by Puri Jagannadh will next star in biopic of his dad Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Director and other cast and crew of the film are yet to be finalized.
Balakrishna is now showing interest on biopic of Indian legendary mathematician Sastry Garu. Balakrishna recently visited a historical museum in Germany and he was amazed to see a portrait of the Telugu man Sastry Garu there.
Sastry Garu's sculpture has been placed between world’s legendary leaders like Hitler and Lenin after which Balakrishna started inquiring about him. Balayya got to know that Sastry Garu influenced German economists during his time, so he decided to reprise his role. A team of writers are working on script of Sastry Garu's biopic.
Seems like, Balakrishna has decided to do only unique and meaningful films!
