The issue of raising ticket prices for single screen theaters have cropped up and Allu Aravind is once again in the thick of the action. It seems that Allu Aravind is once again trying to put pressure to increase the ticket rates for single screen theaters in Andhra Pradesh. The Congress Government lead by Kiran Kumar Reddy refused to agree for to raise the ticket prices although top producers like Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju and Suresh Babu have heavily lobbied for the Hike in March.
According to sources, Allu Aravind's movie Badrinath release is on the cards and as such he's planning to hike the ticket prices in the first two weeks to squeeze the maximum returns in the two weeks. Hence, Allu Arvvind is trying to bring back the old rule of hiking ticket rates in the first two weeks. Reports further say that Allu Aravind is also pushing other producers and distributors to support him in this connection and get the maximum Ticket Price to be hiked upto 75/-. And with Chiranjeevi in Congress Government, well, looks like the ticket prices may go high.
