Updated : May 27, 2026

The buzz around Ranveer Singh and Excel Entertainment clashing over Don 3 is dominating industry conversations. What initially seemed like a routine scheduling conflict has snowballed into a deeper issue involving finances, commitments, and the heavy burden of franchise expectations.

Behind the scenes, Farhan Akhtar and Ranveer Singh who have been long term friends and collaborators have discussed compensation for Don 3. Ranveer Singh has accepted to give Rs.10 crores compensation upfront and then Rs.25 crores cut in pay in the future collaborations.

Farhan Akhtar has declined this offer and stated that he and his company have no intention to collaborate with him in the future. They wanted a complete compensation for Rs.45 crores and end the issue then and there. Hence, he complained and escalated the issue to FWICE. They banned the actor and instructed their association technicians to not work with him.

Well, Ranveer Singh's team has added that the actor is upset with Excel for trying to replace him with other actors until Dhurandhar release, when he was going through difficult phase. Even though he was upset about this fact, he gave an offer to act in their future films while joining Don 3 would be out of question.
