Sai Pallavi recently opened up about her Hindi debut film Ek Din, where she stars opposite Junaid Khan. In a candid chat, she shared the actual reason why she accepted the script. After doing several heavy and emotionally draining roles in the South, she really wanted to be part of a lighthearted project. 

She mentioned that the story of Ek Din reminded her of the Hollywood classic 'Before Sunrise', making it an exciting change of pace. Aamir Khan's involvement as a producer also played a huge role in her decision. Interestingly, she admitted that she initially doubted herself. After the premiere, she even told Aamir Khan that she felt miscast, thinking the role required someone with more flamboyance. 

However, Junaid strongly disagreed and praised her spectacular performance. Earlier at a promotional event, she became quite emotional, thanking Aamir for the opportunity and the immense love she received. She humbly apologized for her Hindi and expressed deep gratitude for her entire cinematic journey. Calling Junaid an absolutely beautiful co-star, she shared how happy she was to work in such a creative and supportive environment despite her initial nervousness.
