Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently busy with NBK111, but discussions have already shifted towards his next project with director Koratala Siva. While the film is yet to be officially launched, interesting speculation about the casting has already started doing rounds in film circles.
According to ongoing gossip reports, senior actor Dr. Rajasekhar is being considered to play the antagonist in the film. Though there is no official confirmation yet, the buzz has generated curiosity as it would mark an exciting face-off if materialised. Rajasekhar’s intense screen presence opposite Balakrishna is being seen as an interesting combination.
Interestingly, NBK111 itself is reportedly following a similar route, with Manchu Manoj said to be playing the antagonist role. If that turns out to be true, Balakrishna appears to be consciously exploring films that feature prominent heroes and established actors in key parts rather than relying on conventional villain casting.
The trend is becoming increasingly visible among senior stars as well. Rajinikanth recently shared screen space with Nagarjuna in Coolie, while Chiranjeevi is doing the same with Venkatesh in Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. If Rajasekhar joins Koratala Siva’s project, Balakrishna too would be continuing that approach of bringing strong star value from both sides of the conflict.
