When this monumental project was announced, the industry naturally assumed that streaming giants would be falling over themselves to secure the rights.

Trade circles were confidently predicting a record-breaking deal anywhere between 200 to 250 crores, given that these two cinema titans are sharing the screen after decades. However, the latest buzz sending ripples through the industry is that top OTT platforms are currently playing hardball with the makers.

Reportedly, the highest offers currently on the table are hovering only around the 105 to 125 crore mark. This is practically half of what the producers and the trade experts originally anticipated.
