This is the story of seven brothers who lost their parents quite early in their childhood. The eldest of the brothers (Dr.Rajasekhar) takes up responsibility of bringing up his six younger brothers because their maternal uncle (Shayaji Shinde) usurps their property by cheating and treats his kid brothers as servants. He makes a challange with his uncle that he will make his brothers worthy persons. For that the elder brother works very hard. To fix up a bride (Kamalini Mukherji) for elder brother, their paternal uncle (Jayaprakash Reddy) lies to bride's elder sister (Jhansi) that Rajasekhar has only one brother. He introduces rest of the brothers as cousins to Kamalini and her sister. But one day Kamalini comes to know the truth and goes away to her parent's house. She takes this step because she has seen her elder sister suffering a lot with her in-laws' big family. That's why Kamalini always wanted to have a small family of herself, husband and kids. What the younger brothers of Rajasekhar did to bring back their sister-in-law.... forms the rest of the story.
Analysis :
From the beginning of the movie, right from showing the credits, the director succeeded in creating a pleasant mood in the audience. Screenplay is good. It is obvious that all sections of the audience were kept in mind while readying its story. That is the reason the audience won't feel bored with anywhere in the movie. To attract female viewers, a 'Seemantham' song also been placed in it. One thing is to be mentioned particularly - a sequence from Aamir Khan's "3 Idiots", in which the three boys help a woman in emegency-delivery, has been copied in the climax. It can be said that it is a hit film for the director.
TeluguOne Perspective :
Rajasekhar as usual impresses with his style of acting - the special way of dancing in duets, which look like fights - is only possible for him. All the younger brothers have done justice to their roles. Kamalini's performance is also not bad. And the same with Jhansi also. Worth mentioning is Jayaprakash Reddy's performance as their well wisher uncle, who did very well in comedy scenes in between. Coming to dialogues: Still after having written for 330 movies, Paruchuri brothers' sharpness of pen is galloping like a wild horse. Who else can pen "medalo unna thalibotte kanabadani aameku kaallameeda pade nee kanneeti bottu yela kanabaduthundi" like dialogues. Dialogues are very good. This movie tells the importance of joint families to present days' nuclear-family abounded society. If you like these values, watch this movie.
