Nandamuri Balakrishna is God of Masses for Telugu Cinema and his film for Sankranti festival enhance the festivities in Telugu States. His Daaku Maharaaj released for 2025 Sankranti season on 12th January. Let's discuss about this big action entertainer in detail. 

Plot: 
Nanaji(Nandamuri Balakrishna) decides to save Baby Vyshnavi after she accidentally becomes a witness for illegal tusks smuggling. He becomes her car driver and we get to know that her grandfather Krishnamoorthy (Sachin Khedekar) is a principled man who stands for justice. He doesn't bow down even for a debaucherous Local MLA Trimurthulu(Ravi Kishan)'s threats. 

Nanaji easily overpowers him but he asks Trimurthulu to bring the person working in the shadows behind him to forefront. We are introduced to Balwant Singh Thaku(Bobby Deol) and his cousin. They refer to Nanaji as Daaku Maharaaj. Why do they want to kill Vyshnavi? Why is Daaku saving her? Watch the movie to know the details. 

Analysis :

Nandamuri Balakrishna delivered yet another roaring performance as Daaku Maharaaj. Here, he decided to be subtle and completely go away from his recent high pitch, over-the-top performances. And he excels showing a new dimension in him. His performance is the backbone of this film. 

Shraddha Srinath, Bobby Deol impress us within the permits of the script. Rest all actors gave their best. The film is an action spectacle and the sequences designed with different production design act as the glue for the first hour. The actor of stuntsmen in praiseworthy. Also, the visuals by Vijay Kartik Kannan are also apt for the movie theme. 

S Thaman gave good score and his combination with NBK, once again delivered big time. His work in action sequences has to be stated as huge highlight of this film. He enhanced the overall feel of the film as well. 

Bobby Kolli depends on regular formula but tries to execute them on a fresh and massive scale. He did the same here but at places he brought down the impact with too much editing. Still, he is able to handle the core emotion well enough. Production values and technical brilliance are top notch. 

Overall, Nandamuri Balakrishna with a different character from his previous movies gives us new and fresh experience in action epic genre. Daaku Maharaaj is an easy watch for action film lovers because of his performance,  Thaman's music and well-executed scenes.
