Silambarasan aka STR, has suddenly locked his next with Vetrimaaran. Also, the movie story has deep connection with Vada Chennai, the cult classic of Vetrimaaran with Dhanush. As this movie promo shoot has been completed, many of actor fans have been waiting to hear positive updates regarding the film.

But suddenly, the rumors about film will be canceled or postponed indefinitely like Vaadivaasal have been going around. While the team have been silent about such reports, it is stated that STR has asked for 50 crores remuneration and producer S. Thanu asked him to accept Rs.20 crores plus profit share, deal it seems.

Currently, the reports suggest that team is putting up a set in popular studio in Chennai and the movie is not canceled or postponed. While there might have been negotiations with the producer for STR, he doesn't want to give up on this film with such a popular and quality director, that too, linked with popular franchise.
