Can Sreeleela match Anushka Shetty's aura?

Rumors have been rampant that Producer Allu Aravind is planning to remake Anushka Shetty's Arundhati in Hindi with Sreeleela. The young actress has been very popular in Telugu and she is currently finding good opportunities in Hindi Cinema. She is working in Aashiqui 3 aka Tu Meri Zindagi Hai, Anurag Basu's film in Hindi language.


She entered into Tamil Cinema with Sivakarthikeyan's Parasakthi. She found huge disasters in Telugu recent times as Skanda, Aadikeshava, Extra Ordinary Man, Robinhood failed at the box office. She is hoping for a big comeback with Mass Jathara in Telugu while Hindi rumor mills are talking about her relationship with Kartik Aryan.


Arundhati has become a sensational blockbuster and catapulted Anushka to a star image. Such an iconic film being remade with Sreeleela is not a joke and it takes a lot of work to make it worthwhile. Also, Hindi audiences have seen the dubbed version of the film a lot of times which makes remake even tough to make.


More of than all these factors, Sreeleela should be able to match Anushka Sharma's aura on screen. Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas tried to do so in Chatrapathi remake but he failed even with VV Vinayak behind the camera. So, it would be important for Sreeleela to understand the gravitas of the film and take step forward otherwise it would end up as a spoof of the original film.
