Ragi Upma Recipes
Ingredients
* 1 cup Ragi flour
* 1 tblsp Vegetable Oil
* 2 tsp Mustard seeds
* a pinch of Asafoetida (hing)
* 2 tsp Urad dal
* 2 tsp Channa dal
* 1 Green chilli (finely chopped)
* 1 chopped Onion
* Salt to taste
* 1 tsp Lemon juice
* 1 tblsp chopped Cilantro (coriander leaves)
Preparation
* Take Ragi flour in a bowl. Sprinkle water little by little & crumble the flour. Donot add too much of Water, it will become a paste.
* Heat Oil in a kadai. Add Mustard seeds & Hing. Once the seeds crackle add Channa dal, Urad dal & Green chilli. Fry for few seconds.
* Add Onion & fry till soft.
* Add crumbled Ragi flour & Salt. Mix well for 3-4 mins on Medium heat.
* Remove from heat. Add lemon juice & Cilantro. Mix well & serve hot with Yogurt.
